Enjoy a special dinner aboard our historic dining car in Port Jervis, New York!

On the evening of Saturday, May 10, 2025, guests can enjoy a full-service dinner in our historic 1949 dining car. This event features a prix fixe menu for $100 per person. The price includes all beverages (including two complimentary glasses of beer or wine per guest), all appetizers, one entree selection per guest, and all desserts.

The menu for this event focuses on recreating historic railroad foods using original recipes, supplemented by items from local crafters. All food is prepared fresh in the fully functional kitchen aboard our dining car. Doors will open at 4:00 PM, and meal service will commence at 5:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, as our 2025 Season Opening event from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM will be an opportunity to experience the rest of our exhibits!

Taking a train to Port Jervis for dinner? Our entrance is just 650 feet from the train station, and our meal is timed to fit perfectly between an inbound train at 3:48 PM and an outbound train at 8:41 PM! Check the current train schedules.
